RENO, NV —The law firm of Hutchison & Steffen has opened new offices in Reno and Lake Tahoe to expand and strengthen the Firm’s statewide legal practice. The offices, located on Damonte Ranch Pkwy in Reno and Tahoe Boulevard in Incline Village–North Lake Tahoe, opened on November 1, 2017.
The Firm’s founder, Mark A. Hutchison, said, “The expansion is a part of the Firm’s strategic growth initiatives. Adding three new high-caliber and experienced lawyers, and two northern Nevada offices will enable Hutchison & Steffen to better serve its client-base throughout the State.”
The Firm has hired three local legal veterans to launch the new offices. The team includes Jason Guinasso, who will serve as the managing partner for the northern Nevada offices. Attorneys Kimberly March Guinasso and Eric C. Werner will join Jason in the Reno and Incline Village offices, respectfully. All three attorneys, formerly with Reese Kintz Guinasso, L.L.C., have deep roots in northern Nevada. Each brings a reputation for delivering outstanding legal work and leading well-established law practices that are highly complementary to Hutchison & Steffen’s broad range of legal services.

Jason D. Guinasso is the managing partner of the Firm’s northern Nevada offices in Reno and Incline Village. His primary areas of focus include employment law, administrative and regulatory law, and civil litigation. In addition, Jason has maintained a significant appellate practice, which includes petitions for judicial review of administrative decisions, extraordinary writs, and appeals to the Nevada Supreme Court. He is a graduate, cum laude, of the University of Nevada–Reno and an alumnus of the University of Oregon School of Law. Jason is licensed in Nevada and California.
Kimberly Marsh Guinasso is an of counsel member of the Firm. She focuses primarily in the areas of administrative and regulatory law, election, campaign, and political law, and advising local governments. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University and an alumnus of Duke University School of Law. Kimberly is licensed in Nevada.
Eric C. Werner, a San Diego State University and University of San Francisco Law alumnus, is an associate of the Firm’s northern Nevada offices. His practice includes employment law, commercial litigation, and insurance defense. He is licensed in California and Nevada.
