Partner Mike Wall and Associate Jeffrey Hall successfully obtained a judgment for a client in litigation concerning the purchase of commercial medical buildings. The firm’s client was initially sued for an alleged breach of the sales contract for the buildings. The firm’s attorneys successfully obtained a rescission of the sales contract for the buildings when it was found that buildings had defects. At a highly contested evidentiary hearing to determine whether either of the parties was owed money as a result of the rescission of the sales contract, the firm’s attorney’s obtained a judgment for the client in the amount of $745,321. This result was especially significant because the opposing parties’ attorneys argued at the hearing that their clients were entitled to $1.8 million. Tom and Carolyn Ray v. George and Elizabeth Heller, CV 25957A, Nye County.
