Erin Lee Truman Named Of Counsel At Hutchison & Steffen Law Firm

LAS VEGAS—Hutchison & Steffen, LLC, is pleased to announce that Erin Lee Truman has joined the Firm as of counsel. Truman is a seasoned trial lawyer and will head Hutchison & Steffen’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Department, which includes both mediation and arbitration. Within the insurance industry, Truman is a well-known litigator with significant trial experience and will practice primarily in personal injury litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Truman attended Brigham Young University as a Trustee Scholar and was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. In 1991, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. While in law school, she served on the Moot Court Board of Advocates and was First Year Competition editor, which gave her an opportunity to contribute to several important legal articles. She also worked as a summer intern with the law firm of Beckley, Singleton, DeLanoy, Jemison & List, Chtd. After law school, she joined Edwards, Hunt, Hale and Hansen, Ltd., continuing her emphasis on insurance law and civil litigation. Truman then joined Allstate Insurance Company as of counsel. During her 14 years with Allstate, she represented hundreds of individuals and corporations insured by the company in all phases of civil litigation. She also served on a team that provided in-house training for mediators in 10 Western states. Truman is licensed to practice law in Nevada and Arizona.
Truman is active in her church and the community and has a strong commitment to fundraising and advocacy on behalf of children with Down Syndrome.
